Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to Peakora Treks & Expedition. By booking a trekking, tour, adventure activity, or other travel service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. About Our Services

Peakora Treks & Expedition provides trekking, tours, adventure activities, transportation, accommodation arrangements, guided experiences, and related travel services in Nepal.

Our itineraries and services are designed to provide a safe, enjoyable, and memorable travel experience. However, mountain travel and adventure activities can be affected by weather, natural conditions, government regulations, local circumstances, and other factors beyond our control.

2. Booking and Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive the required booking information and applicable advance payment.

Depending on the trip or package, we may request:

Peakora Treks & Expedition reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking where required information has not been provided or where participation may present significant safety concerns.

3. Payments

The total trip price and payment schedule will be communicated to you during the booking process.

Any applicable deposit or advance payment must be paid within the agreed timeframe to secure the booking.

The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment terms provided by Peakora Treks & Expedition before or during the trip, depending on the package.

Additional costs may apply for services that are not included in the selected package.

4. Prices and Inclusions

The price of each trekking or tour package will depend on the itinerary, duration, group size, services, season, and other applicable factors.

The inclusions and exclusions of each package will be clearly communicated before booking.

Unless specifically stated as included, travelers may be responsible for costs such as:

5. Cancellation by the Traveler

If you need to cancel your booking, you should notify Peakora Treks & Expedition as soon as possible.

Cancellation charges may apply depending on how close the cancellation is to the scheduled departure date and whether non-refundable arrangements have already been made on your behalf.

Any refund will be calculated according to the cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking.

Certain services, permits, transportation, accommodation, domestic flights, and other third-party arrangements may be non-refundable.

6. Cancellation or Changes by Peakora Treks & Expedition

Peakora Treks & Expedition may modify, postpone, or cancel a trip when necessary due to circumstances such as:

Where possible, we will provide suitable alternatives or itinerary adjustments.

Additional costs resulting from circumstances outside our control may be the responsibility of the traveler.

7. Itinerary Changes

Trekking itineraries are planned carefully but may need to change because of weather, trail conditions, local conditions, transportation schedules, permits, health concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Our guides and management team may adjust the itinerary when they believe doing so is necessary for the safety and wellbeing of travelers.

Changes to an itinerary do not automatically qualify for a refund where the change is caused by circumstances beyond our control.

8. Trekking and Adventure Activities

Trekking, mountaineering, rafting, bungee jumping, paragliding, hiking, and other adventure activities involve inherent risks.

Participants must follow the instructions of their guides, activity operators, and safety personnel at all times.

Peakora Treks & Expedition may refuse participation in an activity where a person’s physical condition, behavior, equipment, or other circumstances create a significant safety concern.

9. Health and Fitness

Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and mentally fit for their chosen trip or activity.

Some trekking routes involve high altitude, long walking days, steep terrain, cold temperatures, and physically demanding conditions.

Travelers should consult an appropriate medical professional before undertaking a demanding trek if they have any health concerns.

Participants must inform Peakora Treks & Expedition about relevant medical, dietary, allergy, or mobility requirements that may affect their trip.

10. Altitude and Medical Emergencies

High-altitude trekking carries risks including altitude sickness and other altitude-related conditions.

Our guides will monitor travelers and may recommend rest, descent, itinerary changes, or evacuation when necessary.

In an emergency, evacuation or medical treatment may be arranged through available local services.

The cost of medical treatment, rescue, evacuation, additional accommodation, transportation, or other emergency services may be the responsibility of the traveler unless covered by their travel insurance.

11. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain trekking and adventure packages.

Your insurance should, where applicable, cover:

Peakora Treks & Expedition is not responsible for expenses that should have been covered by the traveler’s insurance.

12. Passport, Visa and Permits

Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, visas, permits, and other required travel documents.

Travelers must provide accurate information required for trekking permits, domestic flights, accommodation, and other travel arrangements.

Peakora Treks & Expedition is not responsible for losses or additional costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete, expired, or missing travel documents.

13. Personal Belongings

Travelers are responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, cash, electronic devices, passports, and travel documents.

Peakora Treks & Expedition is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless directly caused by our proven negligence.

Travelers should keep important documents and valuables secure throughout their journey.

14. Accommodation and Transportation

Accommodation and transportation will be provided according to the selected itinerary and package.

In remote trekking areas, accommodation may be basic and facilities may differ from those available in cities.

Transportation schedules, domestic flights, road conditions, and local services may change without prior notice due to weather, operational conditions, or other circumstances.

15. Guides and Porters

Our guides and porters are selected to support travelers throughout their journey.

Travelers are expected to treat guides, porters, drivers, hotel staff, local communities, and other service providers respectfully.

Guides may make reasonable changes to the daily itinerary when necessary for safety, weather, health, or local conditions.

16. Responsible Travel

Peakora Treks & Expedition encourages responsible and sustainable tourism.

Travelers are expected to:

We encourage all guests to help preserve Nepal’s natural and cultural heritage for future generations.

Peakora Treks & Expedition may take photographs or videos during trips for promotional, website, social media, or marketing purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in promotional photographs or videos, please inform our team in advance.

18. Third-Party Services

Some services may be provided by independent third parties, including airlines, hotels, transportation providers, activity operators, restaurants, and other local service providers.

Peakora Treks & Expedition will make reasonable efforts to work with reliable service providers but cannot be responsible for circumstances directly caused by third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.

19. Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers agree to:

We reserve the right to remove a traveler from a trip or activity if their behavior creates a serious safety risk or significantly affects other travelers.

20. Force Majeure

Peakora Treks & Expedition will not be liable for failure or delay in providing services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, extreme weather, earthquakes, landslides, avalanches, epidemics, pandemics, political instability, strikes, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, flight cancellations, road closures, or other unforeseen events.

21. Liability

Peakora Treks & Expedition will take reasonable care in arranging and delivering its services.

However, we cannot guarantee that every aspect of a trip will operate exactly as originally planned due to the nature of travel and trekking in Nepal.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Peakora Treks & Expedition is not responsible for losses, injuries, delays, additional expenses, or disruptions resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control or from the actions of independent third-party providers.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

22. Complaints

If you experience a problem during your trip, please notify your guide or Peakora Treks & Expedition as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Any complaint that cannot be resolved during the trip should be submitted to us in writing as soon as possible after returning from the trip.

23. Privacy

Personal information provided during the booking process will be used for purposes including booking management, permits, accommodation, transportation, communication, and other services required to operate your trip.
